If you and your partner are fighting, honesty can be a brutal weapon. Saying things like "my ex was always better in bed than you are" or "Your friend told me she didnīt want to spend time with you any more" might be honest, but it is incredibly painful to hear things like this in such a blunt and pointed manner.
Look through the argument tips for help keeping your arguments constructive, and do not use honesty as a whip. It will keep you both from being honest later on, if you see honesty in your relationship as something that is harmful.
